Tropical Storm Emily Deterioration Onda Tropical

An Air Force reconnaissance investigate Tropical Storm Emily on Thursday afternoon revealed that the system no longer has a center of circulation and has degenerated into a tropical wave. Accordingly, no further notice will be issued on this system by the National Hurricane Center, unless regeneration occurs.

Our threat level chart below shows that if Emily collapsed, heavy rains continue to Hispaniola and could cause flash floods and mudslides in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. The National Hurricane Center provides 6 to 12 inches of rain fall on this region, with isolated totals of 20 inches.

When you move from Emily, north of Hispaniola and remants in the southeast Bahamas, they are closely followed the regeneration potential of the next day.
